The States Cooperative Ministers Conference on the occasion of the centennial year of the Indian  cooperative movement in 2004 recommended to the Govt. of India to constitute  High power committee for preparing a road mapfor cooperativesover the coming year.  The  Committee was constituted under the Chairman ship of Shri Sivajirao G. Pati.  This High Power Committee submitted its report in 2010.
