And Founder & Editor of "Sahakara Prabodhini" an Integrated Rural Development Monthly Magazine, through which the Cooperative Philosophy is being propagated.
Now, he himself resolved to sacrifice his life for establishing the "SAHAKARARA DHARMA PEETAMU" from the auspicious day the 5th February, 2020, which is in progress... The Aim of the "Sahakara Dharma Peetamu" is to enlighten the Masses through its "Sahakara Dharma Prabodhakulu" a network of Social Workers, whom will be trained in Sahakara Dharmam / the ethics..
Sri Sambharapu Bhoomaiah had
worked as a Cooperative Educational Instructor in A.P. State Cooperative Union,
since 1977. When the Govt. of India had signed the GATT Agreement,
and the prevailing problems in A.P. Cooperative credit structure and the status of the Cooperative Movement made
him to create and organize the "
Sahakara Samrakshana Samithi" (Cooperative Movement
Protection Council) a Forum for the Cooperatives, the Cooperators, the Coop. Academicians
and the Coop. members. And resigned from the service.
In
the process of the cooperative protection movement, there we felt, the need to
propagate the Cooperative concept in true nature in the masses. Hence we
started to publish a Cooperative Philosophical and educative Monthly
Magazine in Telugu Language since March, 1995 and made it as an Integrated
Rural Development, monthly Magazine to reach the every house hold of the rural.
Further it is felt that the Managing Committees of the Primary
Coop.Societies, the Members and the Staff had to be educated and trained, hence
registered a non Governmental Organisation "Sahakara
Samkshema Samithi "(Sahakara Dharmaprachara Seva Samstha) for
Cooperative education, training and research.
